Delete a deployed resource
HttpRequest request = HttpRequest.newBuilder() .uri(URI.create("http://localhost:8080/v2/resources/2251799813685249/deletion")) .header("Authorization", "Bearer <token>") .header("Content-Type", "application/json") .method("POST", HttpRequest.BodyPublishers.ofString("{ \"operationReference\": 1, \"deleteHistory\": false }")) .build();HttpResponse<String> response = HttpClient.newHttpClient().send(request, HttpResponse.BodyHandlers.ofString());System.out.println(response.body());const url = 'http://localhost:8080/v2/resources/2251799813685249/deletion';const options = { method: 'POST', headers: {Authorization: 'Bearer <token>', 'Content-Type': 'application/json'}, body: '{"operationReference":1,"deleteHistory":false}'};
try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data);} catch (error) { console.error(error);}curl --request POST \ --url http://localhost:8080/v2/resources/2251799813685249/deletion \ --header 'Authorization: Bearer <token>' \ --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \ --data '{ "operationReference": 1, "deleteHistory": false }'Deletes a process definition version, a decision requirements graph
(with every decision deployed in it) or a form version by its key. A
deleted version no longer resolves for new work; the previous version,
if any, becomes the latest again and its message, signal and timer
start events are re-opened. A process definition that still has
running instances cannot be deleted (409), and an unknown or already
deleted key answers 404. Each deletion writes one
RESOURCE_DELETION DELETED record. deleteHistory: true is
rejected with 400 for a process definition (history deletion runs as
a batch operation, which is not provided) and ignored for other
resources; batchOperation is always null.
Authorizations
Section titled “Authorizations”Parameters
Section titled “ Parameters ”Path Parameters
Section titled “Path Parameters”Positive signed 64-bit entity key, written as a decimal string.
Header Parameters
Section titled “Header Parameters”Tenant selection. A principal bound to one tenant may omit it; if
sent, it must equal that tenant (403 otherwise). A principal that
may act in several tenants must send it on every request:
without it the request is refused with 400, and a tenant it may
not act in is refused with 403.
Makes a retried command safe. A repeat with the same key and the same
body replays the first answer. A repeat with the same key and a
different body is refused with 409.
Request Body
Section titled “Request Body”object
Accepted and ignored.
true is rejected with 400 for a process definition and ignored for other resources.
Responses
Section titled “ Responses ”The resource was deleted.
